This contract is to procure Industrial & Domestic (I&D) Water Treatment Plant Concrete repairs from E&D Contracting Services in the amount of $190,125. The concrete repairs are necessary due to the deterioration of existing concrete in various locations throughout the water treatment facility. The repair work is taking place on concrete original to the facility, specifically on beams, walls, stairs, and walkways. The structural repair work is necessary for both the safety of the employees and to maintain the resiliency of the infrastructure. In 2023, the I&D Water Treatment Facility provided an average of 44 million gallons of water per day to potable water customers in the City of Savannah and the greater coastal Georgia region. Maintaining the infrastructure of this facility is critical for maintaining the region's drinking water supply. The City entered into negotiations with the vendor and was able to reduce the cost. This bid was advertised, opened, and reviewed. Two bids were received and one was withdrawn due to inability to meet the DBE goal. Terms: Net 30 Days. Delivery: As requested.
