Description

This contract is to procure one Container Carrier Truck from National Auto Fleet Group in the amount of $120,499. The new container carrier truck will be utilized by the City’s Commercial Refuse Division. Its primary functions will include delivering, collecting, and spotting containers for new routes or customers. Additionally, the truck will play a key role in responding to “missed truck” situations, where it will be dispatched to collect and empty containers missed by the regular trash truck. The new container truck will replace unit 5731, which has been identified as a FY25 replacement.

 

Per Section of 2-4152 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a cooperative contract. The contract used for this procurement is Sourcewell Contract #032824-NAF for Class 4-8 chassis with related equipment, expiring 07/09/2028 Delivery: As requested. Terms: Net 30 days. A pre-proposal meeting was not conducted as these services are being procured through the use of a cooperative purchasing agreement. (D) Indicates non-local, non-DBE business.
