This contract is to procure two automated side loader trucks and six 25-cubic yard refuse bodies with flippers from New Way c/o Solid Waste Applied Technologies in the amount of $1,775,600.

The automated side loader trucks will be used by the Sanitation Department’s Recycling & Litter Division, replacing units 6736 and 6737, which are scheduled for replacement in FY25. The six 25-cubic yard refuse bodies are specifically designed to fit the rear-loader garbage truck cab and chassis. These bodies will be mounted on four chassis scheduled for replacement in FY25 and two new chassis being added to the fleet in FY25.

Per section of 2-4152 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a cooperative contract. The contract used for this procurement is Sourcewell Contract #110223-NWY for Refuse Trucks, expiring 12/28/2027. Delivery: As requested. Terms: Net 30 days. The vendor is:
