15. Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Contract for various multi-station play structures with GameTime c/o Dominica Recreation Products, Inc., in an Amount Not to Exceed $139,995. Description

This is for the approval of various multi-station play structures with GameTime c/o Dominica Recreation Products, Inc., in an Amount Not to Exceed $139,995. The multi-station play structures will replace aging playground equipment which will consist of the renovation and addition of play features at 14 parks and playgrounds. Playground units will be rendered safe and feature new equipment including fitness stations at Fieler Park, a shade canopy at Tribble Park, and amenity improvements at Live Oak and Charlie Bryan Parks.

The equipment and repairs are part of the Recreation Reimagined initiative which is focused on creating and providing high quality recreation facilities and experiences for Savannah residents.

Per section 2-4152 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services using a cooperative contract. The Omnia Partners contract used for this procurement is GameTime c/o Dominica Recreation Products, Inc. Contract #2017001134 for Playground and Outdoor Fitness Equipment, Site Accessories, Surfacing, and Related Products and Services and it expires on June 30, 2026.
