Description

This contract is for the procurement of Microsoft Enterprise Software with Insight Public Sector, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $1,736,022. The contract will be utilized by the Innovation & Technology Department to support the use of Microsoft products across all City departments. These services allow City employees to access essential tools including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, and other Microsoft platforms used for daily operations, communication, and collaboration.This request also includes a modification to the current purchase order to increase the annual spend for Azure. Azureis the cloud computing component of the City’s existing Microsoft Enterprise Agreement and provides scalable infrastructure for the City’s cloud-based services, including MySavannah and virtual computing resources for publicfacing devices. The Azure environment enhances security, improves accessibility to operational resources, andprovides a platform that supports business continuity and disaster recovery. The cost breakdown is as follows:

 

Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (ELA): $1,535,522

Azure: Modification to increase the current purchase order of $49,500, by $200,500, bringing the new total for Azure to $250,000.

This is a three-year contract with annual renewals, beginning July 1, 2026, with a final expiration date of June 30, 2029.
