| Description The Mayor and Aldermen have undertaken an initiative to bring about the construction of housing for families experiencing homelessness with CDBG-CV funding. The Chatham County/City of Savannah Land Bank Authority (LBA) requests that the City of Savannah transfer title to the vacant lot located at 0 Crescent Drive (PIN 20039 02087) in Savannah Gardens to the LBA. The LBA will transfer the property to CHSA Development, Inc. so it can build two new three-bedroom dwellings for families experiencing homelessness using CDBG-CV funds that were previously awarded to CHSA Development, Inc. by City Council. The City has, in the past, similarly transferred property to the LBA to facilitate the development of affordable housing. | |
