| Description The ADA van will be used to transport ADA passengers to and from the terminal. The Commission advertised a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the unit from October 5 – November 4, 2022, with a 14-day extension of advertisement. There was 1 bid received but the proposed unit in the bid response did not meet the airport’s specifications and requirements. Due to the unsuccessful bid responses, Purchasing shopped through the State contract, pre-negotiated cooperative purchasing agreements, and locally to locate the unit. As a result, Mobility Works had a chassis on ground waiting to be upfitted. The chassis is on schedule to be upfitted and delivered to the Commission on November 11, 2023 upon purchase. This is a 2023 budgeted item. | |
