| Title 32. Approval to Contract Services from Otis Elevator Company to Provide a Comprehensive Modernization Package on the Economy North and South Parking Elevators, in the Amount of $300,000. | |

| Description Otis Elevator Company will provide material and labor to install a comprehensive modernization package on the Economy North and South Parking Elevators. This modernization package will include a new HydroAccell Controller, Otis Glide A Door Operator, OptiGuard Door Detector, Power Unit, Otis Hall & Cab Fixtures, AccessAlert, and a Cab Interior Package. The package will provide the latest technology to increase reliability and better overall performance, meet current codes, enhance safety, improve the aesthetic and appeal, and provide and increase the overall passenger experience. All work will be completed on site, one elevator at a time. The current elevators are (25) years old and have reached their operational lifecycle. Otis Elevator Company is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and is currently contracted to provide all maintenance and repairs on both Otis Elevators. This is a 2024 budgeted item. | |
