Strategic Priority Good Government |
Description
The Scope of Services Task Work Order No. 1 includes a topographical survey, construction documents, and construction phase services to upgrade the Savannah Airport Commission's (SAC) Runway 01 instrument landing system (ILS) to a new Mark 420 ILS. The current system is 50 years old and has reached the end of its life cycle. The SAC previously entered into a reimbursable agreement (RA) with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) last year for this project. The RA provides funding to the FAA to perform design reviews and purchase the ILS equipment and on-site personnel to commission the system. The SAC is responsible for the design, bid, award, and construction phase services for the project.
