This contract is for the procurement of three (3) Elgin Pelican three-wheel street sweepers from Environmental Product Group c/o Elgin Sweeper Company in the amount of $869,100. The Elgin Pelican three-wheel street sweepers will be used by the City of Savannah’s Street Cleaning Division to meet weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly sweeping schedules. Procurement of these machines will ensure continuity of operations at the existing equipment level. The new sweepers will replace units 7702, 7703, and 8754 which are at the end of their useful life and have been identified as FY24 replacements. 

This procurement is being done using Sourcewell contract #093021-ELG. Per section 2-4152 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a cooperative contract. It was competitively bid by Sourcewell, and expires on November 16, 2025. Delivery: As requested. Terms: Net 30 days.
