6. Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Contract for One (1) Leaf Vacuum Trailer from Environmental Products Group in the Amount of $59,800. The leaf vacuum will be utilized by the Park and Tree Department to collect piles of leaves that need to be removed during City Park maintenance. The new leaf vacuum trailer is a planned FY23 fleet addition to support the departments' back-to-basics initiative. (Fleet Services)

Description

This contract is to procure one (1) leaf vacuum trailer from Environmental Products Group in the amount of $59,800. The leaf vacuum trailer will be utilized by the Park & Tree department to collect piles of leaves that need to be removed during City Park maintenance. The new leaf vacuum trailer is a planned FY23 fleet addition to support the department's back-to-basics initiative.  

 

This procurement is being made through the use of a cooperative purchasing agreement with Sourcewell (Old Dominion Brush Contract #031121-ODB). Cooperative purchasing is authorized as an appropriate procurement method in Division 10 Section 4-4152 of the City of Savannah’s purchasing ordinance. This contract was competitively bid by Sourcewell. This contract expires 04/30/2025. Delivery: As requested. Terms: Net 30 days.

A pre-proposal meeting was not conducted as this trailer is being procured through the use of a cooperative purchasing agreement. (D) Indicates non-local, non-DBE business.
