| Description Recommend approval to authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Howden for maintenance and upgrades to the Turblex Blowers in the amount of $101,779. This maintenance contract will be used by the Public Works and Water Resources Department to maintain and upgrade the blowers. The blowers are an integral part of the treatment process, which provide oxygen to the micro-organisms that consume organic matter, and provide air flow for the diffusers used in the treatment process. This is a sole source because these parts will be used with existing equipment available only from this supplier. | |
