| Description Recommend approval to award an annual contract for preventative maintenance on City fire trucks with Palmetto Fire Apparatus Holdings for up to $35,000. The Fleet Services Department and the Fire Department will use the contract to provide preventative maintenance for City fire trucks for the remainder of 2020. Per national guidelines and standards, all heavy fire apparatus in the Fire Department fleet will receive this service bi-annually. This contract will provide a dedicated work force assigned to the Fire Department fleet which will include apparatus inspections, completing required DOT inspections, performing preventative service work and identifying critical repairs needed for the apparatus. | |
