Recommend approval to procure appraisal services from RE: Appraisals, Inc. in the amount of $532,000.00.  These services will be used by the Real Estate Services Department to appraise the market value of real property, as well as any resulting severance damages or special benefits, for parcels associated with the DeLesseps/LaRoche Avenue road widening project.  The widening project includes development of new bike paths, sidewalks, and enhanced drainage, among other improvements. The project will include the partial acquisitions of 120 parcels including 86 fee simple right-of-way acquisitions and 119 construction easement acquisitions. 

The project included a DBE goal of 18%.  Based on the proposed schedule of DBE participation submitted by the recommended bidder, the overall DBE participation is 19% with a breakdown of 9% using Faulkner Lossing ^(A) and 10% using Lisa Ward ^(E).
