This action would modify the Tour Service for Hire Ordinance to establish composition of the Tourism Advisory Committee as follows:

Creation and composition. There is hereby created a tourism advisory committee, which shall consist of 10 members. One shall be a representative of the Historic Savannah Foundation; two shall be representatives of the Downtown Neighborhood Association; one shall be a representative of the Victorian Neighborhood Association; one shall be a representative of the Thomas Square Neighborhood Association; one shall be a representative of Visit Savannah; one shall be a representative of the Tourism Leadership Council; one shall be a representative of the lodging industry, appointed by Visit Savannah; one shall be a representative of a motorized tour company, appointed by the Tourism Leadership Council; and one shall be a representative of a non-motorized tour company, appointed jointly by the Tourism Leadership Council and Visit Savannah. The composition of the tourism advisory committee shall be reviewed every three years by the mayor and aldermen to ensure that the designated industry and community organizations accurately represent tourism districts and interests.
