Description

The purpose of this petition is to support the annexation of 0 Grove Point Road (PIN 11004 02029) and zone it from Chatham County’s zoning classification of R-A (Residential-Agriculture) to the City’s zoning classification of R-A (Residential-Agriculture-County).

The parcel is 12.24-acres of vacant land located near Sweetwater Station Drive and Clubhouse Drive adjacent to the Sweetwater subdivision. The property owner plans to expand the Sweetwater Station subdivision by developing approximately 60 detached, single-family homes on the parcel.
