Motion to Amend the Future Land Use Map Category for 1325 Chatham Parkway (Petitioner, MPC staff)
The petitioner, Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC File No. 17-002738-CPA) is requesting that the Tricentennial Comprehensive Plan Amendment Future Land Use Map be changed from Commercial-Suburban to Residential-General for a property located at 1325 Chatham Parkway. The proposed Land Use Map Amendment will be consistent with the requested zoning map amendment for the subject site from the existing PUD-B-R (Planned Unit Development - Regional Business) zoning classification to a PUD-M-12 (Planned Unit Development - Multifamily, 12 units per net acre) and the proposed multi-family residential development (MPC File No. 17-002738-ZA).
The proposed recommendation is subject to approval of the requested zoning map amendment (MPC File No. 17-002738-ZA) by the Mayor and Alderman. The Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of this request on June 6, 2017.
