The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval Procure One Refurbished Self-Propelled Aircraft Stair Truck from Advance GSE Corp, $42,000. This stair truck may be pre-positioned on the new apron expansion or at the Customs FIS to support remote aircraft operations. It may also be used to support timely and orderly offloading of passengers from disabled commercial aircraft on the airfield. Currently all stairs on our airfield must be towed into place. The following quotes were received:

Both respondents offer a three-month warranty (parts only). Staff visited both companies to review the quality and craftsmanship of the products.
