Strategic Priority
Good Government
Description

The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval to reimburse Enterprise Holdings for an Underground Storage Tank Removal Project, $44,106. An underground storage tank (“UST”) owned by the Commission and located at the Enterprise Rent A Car service center facility, was taken out of service in 2018 after Enterprise determined the tank had reached its useful life and would no longer be utilized to support the rental car operation. Enterprise supervised the removal operation, as well as the environmental closure process with the state. Staff also monitored the project, along with the Commission environmental liability insurance provider, and no issues were noted during the removal process. Request reimbursement to Enterprise Holdings in the amount of $44,106 to be funded using Customer Facility Charge revenue.
