| Description Recommend approval to authorize the City Manager to execute a annual contract for sidewalk, curb, and cobblestone repair from Savannah River Utilities (primary) in the estimated amount up to $2,500,000 and Savannah Paving, Inc. (secondary) in the estimated amount up to $1,600,000, for an estimated total amount up to $4,100,000. This contract will be used by the Infrastructure and Development Departments to repair sidewalks, curbs and cobblestone/concrete streets within the City limits. The contracted repairs will help alleviate the City’s backlog of work orders, reduce liabilities, and improve neighborhood revitalization. This event had a 20% LDBE goal. The recommended primary proposer submitted LDBE participation at the subcontractor level in the amount of 25% using ED Trucking, the recommended secondary proposer submitted LDBE participation at the subcontractor level in the amount of 20% using S&S Supply, LLC and Groundworks Contracting. The contract term shall be from August 1, 2019 through December 31, 2020. | |
