Title Motion to Approve Water and Sewer Agreement with Mariner Brand Deptford, LLC | |
Description Mariner Brand Deptford, LLC, has requested a water and sewer agreement for The Ellis, located in the President Street Service Area on approximately 9.84 acres at the Intersection of President Street Extension and Woodcock Road. The water and sewer systems have adequate capacity to serve this 108-equivalent residential unit development. The agreement is consistent with policy directives given by the Mayor and Aldermen and has been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney for legal format. As part of the water and sewer agreement, the City will reimburse the developer for the actual cost of design and construction of the water main and sanitary forcemain from the site to the existing City water and sewer facilities, in an amount not to exceed $215,620.00. In addition to water and sewer tap-in fees, the developer will pay the City a proportionate share of the capital cost for expanding the wastewater treatment and transport facilities amounting to $600 per residential unit for water, $400 per unit for sewer, $600 per unit for reclaimed water, and $2,000 per unit for the President Street Water Reclamation Facility. | |
