| Description Recommend approval to award an annual contract to Custom Tree Care, Inc. (primary), Gunnison Tree Specialist (secondary), ArborNature, LLC (tertiary), and Kolcun Tree Care, LLC (quaternary) in the amount not to exceed $700,000. The contract will provide for tree and stump removal services throughout the City of Savannah on various City properties and public rights-of-ways. Trees to be removed will be those designated by the City’s Forestry Administrator, either by specific individual trees or specified groups of trees. Without an annual contract, the City would not be able to keep up with the volume of hazardous tree removals within the City’s rights-of way and properties. No DBE goal was established for this contract due to the absence of subcontracting opportunity. The contract term shall be from September 26, 2019 through December 31, 2020. | |
