The purpose of this Request for Proposal was to solicit competitive bids from qualified vendors for the furnishing, delivery, installation, maintenance, and removal of temporary fencing as required. This contract is intended to support routine operational needs as well as provide a readily available resource for temporary fencing during emergency events, disasters, and other unforeseen circumstances requiring immediate site security, access control, or public safety measures. The bid includes, but is not limited to, the removal and installation of 6-foot and 8-foot-high fencing with three strands of barbed wire, as well as fence posts, gates, hardware, and all related components as required. Additional project-specific quotations may be requested throughout the contract term. Such quotations shall be based on the unit prices established in the awarded proposal, which shall serve as the maximum allowable rates. Each quotation shall provide a detailed breakdown of labor, materials, equipment, mobilization, and any other applicable costs, allowances, or exclusions associated with the work. The Commission advertised Request for Proposal (RFP) 2026-0023 from June 16 through July 31, 2026. A total of two (2) bids were received, with one (1) bid determined to be non-responsive. After evaluating the one (1) responsive submission, Superior Welding and Fabrication (SWS) was determined to be the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting all specifications.
