| Description Recommend approval of a construction contract for the Springfield Canal Pump Station Gantry Crane Rail Extension with Southern Civil, LLC in the amount of $114,540. The Stormwater Department will use the contract to increase the functionality of the existing overhead rail crane by extending the rail beam 15 feet. Extending and reinforcing the undersized rail beam will allow for maneuvering a transport truck under the crane and safely loading or off-loading flood control pumps in need of maintenance and repair. The project will also include extending and upgrading the hoist track and electrical cabling, installing a new electrical junction box and protecting bollards. | |
