Description The petitioner, Joshua Yellin, agent for Vintage Home Restoration, LLC, is requesting approval of a Special Use Permit to allow for the accessory alcohol sales by the drink, in association with a restaurant for the property located at 222 West Duffy Street (PIN 20052 16013). The restaurant use is permitted by right within the TC-1 zoning district and the accessory alcohol sales of alcohol within the restaurant requires a Special Use Permit. This petition is the second part of two zoning requests for the property. The first seeks approval for a zoning map amendment to rezone the property from TN-1 (Traditional Neighborhood-1) to TC-1 (Traditional Commerical-1). If approved, the second item for consideration is a Special Use Permit to allow for the accessory alcohol sales by the drink, in association with a restaurant. If approved, the petitioner will be required to submit an alcoholic beverage application which will be considered at a future Council meeting by Mayor and Aldermen. | |
Recommendation On July 25, 2023, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the petition of Joshua Yellin, agent for Vintage Home Restoration, LLC, at 222 West Duffy Street (PIN 20052 16013) under the following conditions:
