Title 43. Approval to Procure Security Screening Equipment from Leidos Corporation, in the Amount of $317,611. |
Strategic Priority Good Government |
Description
This procurement includes Transportation Security Administration (TSA) versions of a ProVision 2 Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) body scanner and a QS-B220, the installation of said equipment, and a 4-year maintenance agreement. Due to the lack of availability for TSA, the Savannah Airport Commission (SAC) will need to purchase this equipment to complete the two new lanes in the Security Checkpoint. In approximately four (4) years, this equipment will be donated to the TSA, which will then be responsible for its maintenance. This is a sole source purchase due to TSA requirements to have the same equipment installed in the new lanes in the Security Checkpoint as currently installed.
