| Description The Ariport's Airfield Operations continually rebuilds taxiway lighting circuits as part of an overall multi-year airfield lighting maintenance program. This project will upgrade the lighting system on Taxiway ‘B’ North. The upgraded LED fixtures are compliant with FAA Airport Certification standards and have a useful life of over 100,000 hours versus incandescent fixtures with an average useful life of 2,500 hours. This will also include a new 4kW Constant Current Regulator. Allen Enterprises is a sole-source provider and government approved sole source contractor of the ADB SafeGate light fixture and connection kits, which are currently in use on the airfield taxiway lighting system. | |
