Description Petitioner, Jason Hagen, on behalf of JJL, Inc. (associated with Vaden Automotive Group) has petitioned to have a portion of City right of way (ROW) declared surplus and available for sale. The requested ROW fronts 10421 Abercorn Street, which is currently home to a Vaden Nissan automotive dealership. Georgia Code 36-37-6 governs the disposition of ROW and authorizes municipalities to sell and convey right of way which is no longer needed for public road purposes. All sales of surplus ROW are offered first to the adjoining property owners. JJL, Inc. is the sole adjoining property owner in this case. | |
