Title Motion to Approve 90-Day Stay on the Issuance of Licenses to Sell Alcoholic Beverages by the Package Along Montgomery Street between Victory Drive and DeRenne Avenue
Description At the July 22, 2017, City Council Meeting, the Mayor and Aldermen directed staff to develop a 90-day stay on the issuance of alcoholic beverage licenses along Montgomery Street between Victory Drive and DeRenne Avenue. This would allow staff time to research and propose revisions to the Zoning Code to address issues associated with the continued issuances of licenses to sell alcoholic beverages, by the package, along the corridor. Staff continues to work on these revisions. A 90-day extension of the stay is needed to complete review and revisions.
