Recommend approval to extend an annual contract for voice communication lines from AT&T in the estimated amount of $370,620.00. This contract is used by the Information Technology Department to provide the City with vital voice and data service and includes PRI trunks, voice lines, and DSL modems.

AT&T has agreed to hold pricing, terms, and conditions for an additional year. There were originally four renewal options for this annual contract. All have been exhausted, and an extension for an additional year was approved last year. This contract will go out for bid in the coming months. Another extension is necessary until a new award is made to ensure continued service while the City undergoes such events as facility moves and the establishment of the Savannah Police Department.

The contract term will be from October 26, 2017 through December 31,2018.
