Title 16. Motion to Procure Services from ICE Automation Group to Install the Video Surveillance System
Strategic Priority Infrastructure
Description The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval to procure services from ICE Automation Group in the amount of $246,359.51 to install the video surveillance system. ICE Automation Group will install additional storage data for the airport’s video surveillance system which monitors the security of the airport. The existing Endura system is over nine years old, and one of the NSM storage units has failed and reached the end of its life cycle. Data storage units are critical to the airport's video surveillance system, and action must be taken to prevent further degradation of data storage. This project will increase video data storage from 200 terabytes to more than 600 terabytes of data storage to enhance retention and quality of video data. The project will include the installation of Video Xpert to replace the Endura 5200 System Manager and the associated networking equipment. This is a sole source procurement based on City of Savannah Procurement Code, wherein this technology is highly specialized and requires a high level of competence and expertise of a certified Pelco custom data design firm such as ICE Automation Group.
