| Description The contract is for the procurement of class II service and additional spare parts necessary to maintain the operation of three (3) Turblex blowers from Howden in an amount not to exceed $229,352. The Water Reclamation Plant on President Street uses Turblex blowers. The blowers are used to provide air to the aeration basins. This air is essential for maintaining a healthy bacteria population in the aeration basins, which is crucial for treating and stabilizing waste. The Class II service includes bearing inspections and replacements on the gearboxes, in addition to completely dissembling the blowers on both the air and gearbox end. This is a sole source procurement because Howden is the original manufacturer of the system installed in 2022. Terms: Net 30 days. Delivery: As requested.
