Staff issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) from July 18, 2025, through August 28, 2025, for qualified firms to provide cable television and broadband services to the airport. The RFP invited submissions for broadband services, cable services, or both.  The scope of services for broadband services required a scalable, high-speed internet service (with fiber as the preferred medium), capable of supporting bandwidth adjustments up to 5 Gigabits symmetrical. The initial service level was specified at 2 Gigabits symmetrical, with redundant handoffs to ensure reliability. SAC selected two firms based on their qualifications, technical capabilities, and overall value. One firm was designated as the Primary Service Provider, and the other as the Secondary Service Provider.  The Seimitsu Corporation was selected as the Primary Service Provider due to its extensive experience, ability to provide substantial bandwidth and static IP addresses, and robust reliability standards. The company offers 99.99% uptime with real-time network monitoring and automated alerting. The following proposals were received:
