​​This is for a contract Modification No. 2 to the 5-Year Equity Lease Agreement with Enterprise Fleet Management in an Amount Not to Exceed $694,099. The proposed amount will cover any additional vehicles added to the lease as part of the City’s FY25 Vehicle Lease Plan.The requested funding supports the City’s continued efforts to modernize its fleet by incorporating additional light-duty vehicles into the lease program. By doing so, the City aims to reduce overall maintenance costs, improve vehicle reliability, and increase operational efficiency across departments.  

​The original contract with Enterprise Fleet Management was approved by City Council on May 13, 2021, with an annual value of $1,492,982. Contract Modification No. 1, previously approved, increased the total contract value to $3,700,156 and included adjustments for cost discrepancies and a contract extension. This second modification increases the overall contract value to $4,394,254.72 and specifically accounts for the cost of additional vehicles added to the lease as part of the FY25 Vehicle Lease Plan. The equity lease program allows the City to cycle in newer, more reliable vehicles while shifting routine maintenance responsibilities to Enterprise. This enables the City’s Fleet Division to prioritize repairs and maintenance for public safety and heavy-duty vehicles.
