Title 20. Approval to Procure a Tennant Disk Floor Scrubber from W.W. Grainger, Inc. in the Amount of $60,684
Strategic Priority Good Government
Description The Tennant (T7AMR) scrubber will be used to replace the current Windsor floor scrubber, which has reached the end of its lifecycle. The Tennant scrubber is autonomous, also known as Robotic. This machine uses no chemicals which will help with our Green Cleaning Initiative and will keep SAC up to date with new technology in floor care. It will also allow the Environmental Services Department to continue focusing on disinfection due to the COVID-19 pandemic, without adding additional manpower. In our industry, today’s “new normal” shifts from general daily cleaning to disinfection cleaning at least every two hours or each time passengers board a flight. The machine helps staff achieve goals and comes with a 3-year warranty with software upgrades. Staff submitted an RFQ for the Tennant T7AMR and a total of 3 quotations were received. W.W. Grainger, Inc. had the lowest quote at $60,684.
