Staff recommends approval in the amount of $250,000 in supplemental marketing dollars for the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce to enhance their air service marketing efforts. The City of Hilton Head did not provide supplemental marketing dollars this year, which is having a substantial impact on the chamber's ability to conduct marketing efforts across the board. These supplemental funds will be used to ensure that the Airport maintains its presence in several key markets, particularly in Boston and New York. The budget has the capacity to accommodate these funds.
