36. Motion to Accept the Withdrawal of the Request to Rezone 2327 E DeRenne Ave
Strategic Priority

Linda Sims, Coleman Company, as agent for Loretta Grella (File No. 19-004860-ZA) is requesting approval of a rezoning map amendment for a property located at 2327 E. DeRenne Ave. The request is to rezone one parcel from its existing RM-25 (Multi-family Residential, 25 dwelling units per acre) zoning classification to the B-C (Community Business) zoning classification. The subject property is currently improved with a single-family structure and contains vegetation.

On August 27, 2019, the Planning Commission voted to recommend denial of the rezoning request.  In doing so, the Planning Commission also recommend denial of the request to amend the Future Land Use Category from Residential-Suburban Single Family to Commercial-Suburban.

However, the petitioner withdrew the requests on September 25, 2019.


Accept the withdrawal of the requests to amend the Future Land Use Category and rezone the property.
