Description The Housing Authority of Savannah (HAS) is in the process of subdividing a +/- 13.6 acre tract into three parcels: 1) Parcel B2-1 containing 8.71 acres; 2) Parcel B2-2 containing 4.41 acres, and 3) Perry Lane Right-of-Way (ROW) containing 0.5 acre. HAS intends to lease Parcel B2-1 to Chatham County for development of the early childhood learning center and recreation complex. The City is contributing $3.125 Million in SPLOST funds toward this project. HAS is dedicating the Perry Lane ROW to the City of Savannah in order to close the gap between the Perry Lane and Normandy Street.
