Description The Mayor and Aldermen conditionally approved this special use request, while allowing the operation to close at 10 instead of 9, following a zoning hearing at the October 25, 2018 City Council Meeting. The action being considered now is the approval of an ordinance for the conditional special use. The petitioner, Richard Mopper for Tafina LLC, is requesting approval (File No. 18-003858-ZA) of a special use within a PUD-IS-B (Planned Unit Development-Institutional) Zoning District. The requested special use is an assembly hall (Section 8-3025(b) Use #20a). Section 8-3002 defines an assembly hall as “a facility available for use by the general public for meetings, parties, events and activities of a similar nature. Such use may include the use of any outdoor area onsite and any kitchen facilities associated with the use". | |
