Title 33. Motion to Renew Annual Contract for Low Voltage Cabling with NetPlanner Systems, Inc. (Event No. 3747)
Strategic Priority Infrastructure
Description Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for low-voltage cabling services with NetPlanner Systems, Inc. in the estimated amount of $150,000.00. This amount is based on service usage in previous years and on the projected need for future services in 2019. The services will be used to provide low-voltage cabling at various City of Savannah facilities by the Department of Information Technology (DoIT) in order to repair and enhance network connectivity. The method used for this procurement was the request for proposal (RFP), which evaluates criteria in addition to fees. Proposals were evaluated on the basis of qualifications and experience, system capabilities, references, local vendor participation, and fees. Proposals were received on December 1, 2015. Council originally approved this contract on December 22, 2015. This is the third of four renewal options. The contract term will be from January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019.
