Description

This is for a construction contract for Summerside Park Phase II with Johnson-Laux Construction, LLC in the amount of $173,359. This final phase will provide a picnic shelter with picnic tables, a water fountain, and landscaping. This project completes the neighborhood park at 1020 Clinch Street in the Summerside Neighborhood, of which Phase I, which included a playground and parking lot, was completed in 2020 providing a playground and a parking lot.
 

Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a state contract. The contract being utilized is the State of Georgia Contract #99999-SPD-S20200901-00021. The State of Georgia competitively bid the contract and it expires April 19, 2025. Terms: Net 30 days. A pre-proposal meeting was not conducted as this procurement is being done through a state contract.
