Description Recommend approval of a contract renewal for roll-off containers with Lewis Steel Works(D) (613 S Main St, Wrens, GA) in an amount up to $75,785. The contract is used to replace worn and damaged containers. Due to the pandemic, the cost of steel escalated causing the unit price per container to increase. Roll-off containers are used at various locations throughout the City of Savannah and Chatham County to containerize construction project debris by contractors and to assist City departments with cleanups. This is the second of four annual renewal options available. (D) Indicates local, non-DBE owned business. Recommend approval. | |
