Description Recommend approval of a contract modification for automated vehicle location services from Cal/Amp (15635 Alton Parkway, Suite 250 Irvine, CA 92618)(D) in the amount of $73,423. The automated vehicle location services is used by Savannah Police Department to track fleet assets. The total amount will cover balances owed to the vendor, this contract went over budget due to an excess of new vehicles added to the tracking software. When a new vehicle is added, there is a one-time install charge and a monthly charge. The original five-year contract was approved by City Council on September 29, 2016 in the amount of $672,730. Contract modification No. 1 in the amount of $30,875 was approved by City Council on December 8, 2016. Contract modification No. 2 in the amount of $73,423 would raise the amount of the contract to $777,028. Recommend approval of Contract modification No. 2 for up to $73,423.
