| Description Notification of emergency procurement of replacement expansion joints from Engineered Restoration, Inc. in the amount of $35,900.00. The expansion joints will be used by the President Street Water Reclamation Plant to replace the leaking joints located in the motor control center. A motor control center is an assembly to control some or all electric motors in a central location. It consists of multiple enclosed sections having a common power bus. Each section contains a combination starter, which in turn consists of motor starter, fuses or circuit breaker, and power disconnect. The emergency replacement was warranted due to water infiltration, which was causing the motors to fail. Engineered Restorations was selected because it was the first vendor to immediately respond. | |
