Recommend approval to authorize the Savannah Airport Commission to execute Change Order No. 9 with Holland & Holland, Inc., for Phase II of the Outbound Baggage Handling System in the amount of $88,222.04. This change order is specifically related to the collection of spare parts associated with maintaining the operation of the Automatic Outbound Baggage Handling System. These parts are necessitated to ensure an expeditious repair of failed equipment which could occur if there was a breakdown in the system. Having the spare parts available to our maintenance technicians will lead to quick repair turn-around-times thus minimizing downtime on the baggage handling system, one of our critical operating systems at the Savannah / Hilton Head International Airport.
