This is for contract modification No.2 for Azure software services (SPD PenLink) with Insight Public Sector in the amount of $41,916. Azure is the cloud computing services component of the current Microsoft EA agreement being utilized by the City of  Savannah. The Azure environment provides scalable infrastructure for the City’s cloud-based services, such as My Savannah, and virtual computing resources from our public-facing devices. Utilizing this cloud-based environment provides increased security, expands accessibility to daily operational resources, and delivers a platform for disaster recovery. This contract will be used by SPD to maintain the Azure cloud storage environment, which enables cloud computing services created by Microsoft for building, testing, deploying, and managing applications and services through Microsoft-managed data systems for PenLink. This is being procured through the use of a cooperative Omnia Contract Number: 23-6692-03 expiring April 30, 2026. 

 The City Manager approved the original purchase for $47,584.90 on February 7, 2024.  Contract Modification No.1 was in the amount of  $22,500, approved by Council on December 19, 2024. This brought the total amount for the contract to $70,084.90. Modification No.2 of $41,916, will put the total amount for this contract at $112,000.90.
