28. Approval to Award a Five-Year Contract to Hancock Askew & Co. LLP to Provide External Financial Auditing Services, in the Amount of $378,500.

Description

A Request for Proposals for external financial auditing services was issued in September of 2022. The overall scope of the services requested was to audit the Commission’s Basic Financial Statements, perform single audit and reporting requirements under Government Auditing Standards, assist the Commission with the preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, and prepare and assist with other communications and correspondence as necessary. Proposals were evaluated based on the firm’s experience with airport accounting, the firm’s overall qualifications and experience, fee, local office, and DBE participation. Three proposals were received. 

 

The results of the submitted proposals are as follows:  

 

Hancock Askew & Co, LLP          869 Points     5 Year Fee Total = $378,500

Plante & Moran, PLLC                  781 Points     5 Year Fee Total = $404,925

Mauldin & Jenkins CPAs              695 Points     5 Year Fee Total = $240,000
