Description

Recommend approval of Contract Modification No. 2 with Myrick Marine Contracting Corp for construction services on the gangway platform at Rousakis Plaza in the amount of $3,145.

The original contract was for the construction of a new gangway platform for the recreational and fire dock on Rousakis Plaza which collapsed in November 2016. This modification is for the replacement of 37 additional tie-rods, which are damaged and critical to keeping the docks held together

The original contract was awarded by Council on March 28, 2019 in the amount of $472,766 and Contract Modification No. 1 was approved by Council on December 5, 2019 in the amount of $162,644.80. The total amount of the contract to date, including this Contract Modification is $638,555.80.
