COUNCIL WORK SESSION &
CITY MANAGER’S BRIEFING

Mayor Pro Tem Bell called the 11:00 a.m. Council Work Session to order.

An interview was held for Reed Dulany, III for appointment to the Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA)

Tara Jennings, Coastal Georgia Indicators Coalition presented a PowerPoint Presentation. (Presentation is attached)

David Maxwell, Chief Financial Officer and David Donnelly, Emergency Management Director presented the Hurricane Matthew After Action Report.

Cam Mathis, Information Technology, Director briefly described the approach the City is considering and introduced Greg Laudeman, Sherry McCuller and Eric Overland, Magellan Advisors who presented a PowerPoint Presentation. 

City Manager Hernandez expressed his concerns that the City may be out of its league after the first two steps of the process.

Upon motion of Alderman Johnson, seconded by Alderman Thomas, and unanimously carried Council went into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing Personnel.

Upon completion of this session, a motion was made to come out of Executive Session by Alderman Johnson, seconded by Alderman Durrence, and unanimously carried.

City Manager Hernandez presented the City Manager’s Briefing of the agenda items for the Council Meeting of March 25, 2017. The agenda is attached and made a part of the permanent record.
