The City received an annexation petition for four parcels with an aggregate of 7.25 acres located off State Route 204 near Middle Landing Road. The land under petition is contiguous to existing City territory, and therefore, can be annexed by ordinance adopted by City Council. As required by State law, the County and the Board of Education have been informed of receipt of this petition.

The property is currently zoned as neighborhood business (BN). The property owner desires to establish a self storage rental facility at the site. The owner desires to gain access to City provided utilities on in-city terms. The cost of providing water and sewer service will be fully covered by connection and service fees charged to benefiting parcels in the area.
